New Vision Ministries representatives must be committed Christians and involved in a church which teaches the core doctrine of the Christian faith based on the inspired written Word of God, the Holy Bible. II Tim 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [inspired – in-spiritus] and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
One God yet three persons – the mystery of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. II Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God [the Father] and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. He is the only God. He is the Almighty Creator of all things. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The Father, infinite, eternal and unchangeable in all He is and does. John 4:23-24 He is Spirit and to be worshiped in spirit and truth. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. Worship comes from two words; ‘worthy -- ship,’ which means; God is worthy of our praise as we recognize and give thanks for all His works for us, especially the cross and resurrection.
God the Son, Jesus the Christ, Messiah in Hebrew, is fully human and fully divine. Born of a virgin, sinless in life, gave His life willingly. John 10:17 Jesus said: “The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. On the third day Jesus rose again from the dead and 40 days later He ascended into heaven and sent forth His Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit, Who is a divine Person, co-equal with the Father and the Son and of the same nature, lives within all believers. He creates all faith and enjoins all believers to a higher and purposeful life of compliance to the will of our Lord.
Satan is a created angel who defied God and rebelled with many other angels. All were cast out of heaven like a bolt of lightening. Luke 10:18 Jesus is the God of light, almighty power. Jesus is a King over all that is created and rules with love. Satan is only a prince, a prince of darkness and all evil. John 8:44 There is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Man was created without sin. He too rebelled against God by disobeying what God had told him not to do. As a result, original [first] inherited sin entered into all that God created and is passed on to all who are born. Inheriting this original sin, which leads to all sinning, condemns us. Man cannot with his own reason, strength, decisions or works, get right with God. Salvation comes through faith alone by Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Salvation is always spoken of as a free gift totally separate from anything we can do.
All who have become ‘born again’, that is a spiritual birth from being an unbeliever to a believer will enter into heaven. It is the Bible’s guarantee. Romans 8:1 There is now no condemnation [hell] for those who are in Christ Jesus. John 3:16-17 Jesus said: God so loved the world [you] that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
As described in Matthew,for the unbeliever it is everlasting judgment into hell where there will be a great thirst, grinding of teeth in everlasting pain and a fire that burns but does not consume.
For believers eternal joy and bliss in heaven. Heaven is spoken of both a place be with me in paradise and a condition of perfect joy, a feast of joy and the blessedness of God’s saints [believers] in heaven” and freedom from all ills of this life.
God has assigned each Christian works to do. Ephesians 8:10 For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. As Christian Warriors God will provide the work, we Christian Ambassadors will provide the hands. Romans 10:15 Oh how beautiful are the feet of those that spread to gospel.
